Several months ago I could barely tolerate a 2.5 mile hike. I had low energy and held the belief this is how my life would always be. I used to think that the condition my body was how my body would be for the rest of my life. Training here has allowed me to see that I am capable of so much more than I ever thought. This month, I have energy and muscle to do not only yoga and hiking, but everything else I want to do! I went from struggling with a 2.5 mile hike to acing an 8 mile hike up a mountain!
I came to Dan as a 40 something, life-long athlete, and mom of young twins thinking that I knew pretty much everything there was to know about how my body worked, and just what kind of conditioning I needed to keep my pants fitting… Turns out, I had A LOT to learn. And Dan had some serious work to do to dispel the deeply ingrained myths/thought patterns I had concocted over the years about what it truly means to be “in shape.”
The short version of this review is that after years of working with multiple trainers, spending my life playing sports and running road races, I have honestly never had better results or more success.
